While SMP can cause slight discomfort during the procedure, we take great care in our clients comfort. We use Zensa, an industry leading numbing cream with 5% lidocane to  dull the sensation. We also pay close attention to your comfort throughout the session. Adding more numbing as it is needed. Your comfort is our #1 priority!  

Scalp micropigmentation is a semi-permanent procedure. While the pigment will remain in the scalp, most clients will start to experience some fading at the 4-6 year mark. At this time, you may visit us again for a quick touch up to get you right back to that fresh and crisp look! 

The healing process is rather quick and relatively simple.  Avoid any heavy contact with the scalp, wash with only water and keep out of direct sunlight for 5-7 days. 

The scalp micropigmentation process is always performed over multiple sessions. No matter how small or large the area, multiple sessions are always the best way to achieve desirable and realistic results. Each client has individual needs and goals and their situation is unique.  Because of this we must always plan our sessions at your consultation. It is never advisable to attempt to complete an SMP procedure in just one session. 

While many of the examples of SMP that you may see online are full scalps in a "shaved head" style, SMP is an incredible solution for thinning or naturally thin hair on both men and women. We can achieve amazing results by adding pigment under your existing hair to add density and depth. You do not need to change your hairstyle for SMP, we modify our techniques to fit your needs!
